Annapolis Fishing Charters was started in 1982 in downtown Annapolis. It is one of the oldest fishing companies around, started by the late Joe Richardson. I Dorothy Tuohey have taken it to the next level of operations. I have been a captain in Annapolis for 45 years working on boats from 20 to 400 feet. Annapolis Fishing Charters is located at the marina called WP Nautical or for some people the Trumpy Yard. This where they built Trumpy yachts in the ‘30s

There is no better way to enjoy the Chesapeake bay than on board Bay Eagle. We aim to make your trip as enjoyable as possible. Enjoy fishing or cruising on a 46’ deadrise style fishing boat. The Bay Eagle accommodates up to 30 passengers. Full and half days available .

Catering

Catering

Catering can be obtained by contacting Bread and Butter Kitchen or by PalatePleasers.com. They will deliver to the vessel on the day of your trip. The Chesapeake Bay is known for it brackish water fed by the Susquehanna River fresh water and Atlantic Ocean salt water.

Pricing and Fees

• Our charters are based on a flat rate

• We require a $200 deposit to hold your reservation

• A $90.00 additional fee applies to each person over 6 passengers

• Credit card payments are accepted, however, a 3% convenience fee applies to cover processing fees 

• Full day is $775.00 

• Half day $650.00 

• Mate works for tips only customary’s 20 %

• Full day trips 8 hours May leave at 6, 6:30 or 7am

•Half day trips 5 hours. Leave 6am or 1 pm

•Full Day, and Half Day trips scheduled for morning leave the dock at 6am

•Half Trips in the afternoon leave the dock around 1pm

This was one of my most favorite days on the water. We chartered the boat for our friends and family last, month. Captain Dorothy and her first mate were AMAZING. When we went out, we went quite a few hours without catching, Nevertheless, we still had a great time. But the Captain would NOT give up. She spent HOURS trolling the waters refusing to let us go home empty handed, And towards the end of the day all the lines had fish on them. We caught limit, and huge fish at that! (And FY, the fish is simply AMAZING tasting). And an additional plus, the Captain is a little piece of history – you should ask her about it! She is so knowledgeable, kind, and refuses to give up. Once we docked all the other boat owners came over to talk to her which to me is a testimate to her expertise. | cant wait to go out with her again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
